CPCRS events work to engage the public with the leading voices of civil rights heritage study. Many events are produced in partnership with other organizations who are working to elevate the visibility of the civil rights movement. All of our events are free, open to the public, and recorded for viewing.
Dialogues: CPCRS Dialogues aim to raise visibility, deepen discussion, and spread the word about civil rights heritage and the equity, memory, design, legal and other issues brought to light by its preservation.
Symposium: CPCRS convenes a number of scholars and practitioners deeply engaged in different aspects of preserving sites, stories and organizations representing the heritage of civil rights in the U.S.
