Veda Robbins, RN, BSN

Veda Robbins is a descendant of Pollee and Rose Allen, two of the founders of Africatown and survivors of Clotilda. She is a subject in the documentary Descendant that's currently streaming on Netflix. Veda has been an RN for over 25 years, and is a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. She is currently working as a community organizer in Africatown. She was pulled into activism after understanding more of the history and the issues that Africatown is facing and is dedicated to restoration of the community.
