Research Assistant
Shae Spahle was born and raised in Las Vegas where she spent a lot of her childhood hiking, climbing, and learning about the desert around her. Shae moved to Pennsylvania to attend Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts and Architecture with a focus in ethics, history, and public policy. While at Carnegie, Shae completed a research fellowship that focused on the evolution of the domestic American kitchen from 1900-1950. This research became her capstone and ultimately a proposal for continued research, which she intends to fulfill in her time at Penn.
