Elizabeth Donison is a second-year historic preservation student at the Weitzman School of Design, concentrating in Public History of the Built Environment. She recently worked with the CPCRS on a National Register nomination for the Federation of Southern Cooperative's Rural Training and Research Center in Epes, Alabama. Before arriving to Philadelphia, she worked as a public archaeologist at numerous historic sites in Virginia including James Madison's Montpelier, the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, and the Fairfield Foundation. She is interested in interdisciplinary research exploring the roles of immigration and the African diaspora in the northeast.
